Nyaka Update on Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The president of Uganda announced that all schools will close for 32 days as of Friday, March 20th at noon. Nyaka AIDS Orphans Project schools at Nyaka primary school, Kutamba, NVSS, and all students in other learning institutions will all be going to their communities. Their grannies are vulnerable but strong, resilient, and full of hope. Together we will get through these trying times.

We thank you for your love, care, and support.

Donate now to feed, educate, raise awareness, and buy soap and sanitizers for all grannies and all children they care for. Online education is crucial so we need updated smart phones and tablets and computers so our students can continue learning during this shut down.

Nyaka educates, empowers, and transforms vulnerable and impoverished communities in Uganda, ensuring that everyone has the chance to learn, grow, and thrive.

We gratefully acknowledge our partners, whose generous support makes everything possible.
